Hello, My name is Matthew, i am a 27 year old athletic coach/trainer and accountability partner. I am currenty offering one-on-one and group coaching in running and hiking, as well as one-on-one workout coaching/workout partner accountability. I've been an athlete almost all my life, a long distance cross country and track & field runner. I've been running marathons since the age of 18, and am an avid outdoorsman. I'm always running, hiking, camping, fishing and even teach archery. I love to help people and encourage others to take control of their health. At a young age, as an unfit, and inactive young man, I realized that the key to personal change and growth not only resides in the willingness to do so, but in accountability, coaching, and mentoring. It was was these 3 pillars that forged in me a new outlook on life and the discipline to to not only create new helthy habits, but maintain them. I've been a personal coach for almost 8 years and have helped many of my family, friends, and clients take control of their physical health, establishing healthy habits and workout routines they can stick to. What I provide for my clients are on the ground guided, hikes, workouts, and the accountability needed to make sure you continue to show up for not only for them but for yourself. Discipline that starts in one area of your life will lead to discipline in all areas. You will learn the skills that you need to take yourself further. As a running coach, I will help you get into the sport of running, understanding the correct form, breathing techniques, stretching, self-care and equipment needed to excel. I have a plethora of exercises and drills to keep you in tip top shape. As a Hiking coach, I will guide you through the basics of the form. Equipment, safety, survival techniques, the understanding of terrain and of course, we will embark on numerous local hikes. Lastly, I am offering a general acountability and workout partner. If you just need someone to workout with who will challenge you to go futher, i'm your guy. It's my job to make you are following you commitments and staying disciplined. In any case, I will asses your goals and fitness level, and together we will formulate a schedule that you can stick to! I will create workout plans to strengthen you in your desired areas and get you moving! please call, text, or email today. I don't consider myself a personal trainer per say, but more of a coach, as my approach focuses more on your habits, mental attitude, and ensuring you have personal accountability - more than just taking you through drills and sending you home. I will be meeting you at your level and will help you get to where you want to go. Rates will vary from client to client, based on your needs, goals, desired schedule, number of students, etc. So please call and we can arrange a no cost evaluation to build you a quote.
