Long Island City based steel fabrication shop seeking a full time laborer and machine operator. Responsibilities include, moving material, painting, truck loading, and operating equipment.
Candidates must be able to:
- Provide a current driver's license and be able to operate a pick-up truck.
- Work Monday thru Friday with occasional Saturday Overtime
- Start as early as 5:00am
Upon hire, membership in Ironworkers Union Local 580 is required. Fee to join the union is $100. Monthly union dues are also required.
Starting Salary is $18.00 per hour with overtime paid at a rate of time and one half for all hours worked beyond forty hours. After a designated waiting period benefits included medical coverage and an annuity plan.
