Looking for a full time porter for a medium sized residential building. You will be working as part of a team to maintain a medium sized luxury residential building in Astoria. This position is 8 hours a day, 5 days a week on a rotating schedule. You will need to work some weekends. Duties include, but are not limited to - Maintain the building in a clean and orderly manner - Daily cleaning duties required to maintain assigned buildings as assigned by Supervisor - Daily sweeping throughout public areas, basements and adjacent sidewalk - Mopping common areas - Organizing and sorting garbage daily and putting it out on the curb on scheduled days - Strictly maintain front of buildings to avoid DSNY violations - Maintain all areas of building in a clean and organized manner at all times - Other duties as assigned by Super, Manager or the Owner - Heavy lifting required Spanish speaking preferred.
