The DC Black Business Pop Up Shop - Youth Entrepreneur Edition will highlight the DMV's best young business owners and performing artists! Carmichael Community Connections is kicking off the school year by highlighting youth and young entrepreneurs. Vend with us on September 11, 2021 and enjoy: 100+ Customers Live Musical Performances Free Snacks City Resources & Business Development Info The deposit to vend is $25. $15 will be returned back to you the day of the event. Set up is at 10:00am. Event ends at 5:00pm. Outdoor & indoor vending space available. Carmichael Community Connections (“CCC”) is a Ward 7 based, Black woman owned business formed by Toya Carmichael, Esq. to improve the financial stability of small Black owned businesses and non-profit organizations. Carmichael Community Connections works to increase the financial health of DC’s small Black owned businesses and non-profit organizations by assisting them in three ways: 1) Grant/Contract Procurement; 2) Curated Customer Experiences; and 3) Community Engagement/Exposure.
