Join us with Alan Schreiber to get a comprehensive lesson (complete with sampling!) about TOMATOES!
Tomato Season is upon us! We have such bounty in this region and we are so lucky to have such great farmers - what better way to celebrate this than try out more tomatoes than you knew existed!
Alan Schreiber and his team will be here to teach you and taste you through all sorts of tomatoes while we will head up the wine pairing portion.
Tickets are $40 for two people and include a bottle of wine (you get to choose which one from several offerings), lots of tomatoes, as well as a lecture and a wine tasting comparing and contrasting what different types of wines do to the flavor profile of tomatoes.
For those who attend class, tomato-leaning foods will be available for pre-purchase to enjoy with class.
We hope you can join us!
Barnard Griffin began in 1983 with borrowed grapes and a rented cellar. It has since become one of Washington’s most enduring and award-winning wineries. At the helm then and now is one of the most experienced winemakers in Washington State, Rob Griffin. In addition to the winery production facility, the Richland campus is home to a tasting room, full service restaurant and fused glass art studio.
