Description
The Mold & Water Restoration Technician provides proper quality control, execution and documentation of all mitigation and remediation jobs from beginning to completion, including but not limited to:
• Providing restoration services for structures damaged by fire, mold, water, etc.
• Performing content restoration work on residential and commercial properties.
• Conducting water extraction, drying and cleaning floors, mold and mildew remediation, demolition and debris removal.
• Responding to water jobs and initiate water mitigation according to IICRC standards and company's process.
• Handling any issues caused by water damage, including drying out the area and removing mold.
• Cleaning damaged properties until they can be returned to the client, this includes demo clean-up, smoke and fire damage, water mitigation, mold remediation, and deodorization of facilities.
• Assisting with the inventory of site contents, setup of emergency services equipment, preparing contents for storage, and lifting items into storage.
• Placing equipment on jobsites and monitor them.
• Maintaining all company restoration and cleaning equipment, keeping them clean and properly maintained to be available at all times.
• Adhering to personal safety standards by wearing the appropriate protective gear and using the right equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Restoration experience preferred.
• Knowledge of restoration, mitigation, and/or construction practices and procedures.
• IICRC certifications are a plus but not a must.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a HUGE plus.
• Able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
