Register for the 14th Annual Pink Strides for Breast Cancer Awareness Walk on October 2nd at 9:00 AM at the Licking County Health Department Join the Licking County Health Department (LCHD) for their 14th Annual Pink Strides for Breast Cancer Awareness Walk on Saturday, October 2nd, at 9:00 AM at LCHD, located at 675 Price Road in Newark! The event includes a 1-mile walk on LCHD's paved walking path (2 laps = 1 mile), testimony from local breast cancer survivors, raffle drawing prizes, and more. Check-in and day-of-registration begins at 8:15 AM. The walk will begin at 9:00 AM. Pre-Registration before September 23rd, guarantees a 2021 Pink Strides shirt and one raffle entry. For anyone who would like a shirt, they must register before September 23rd to be guaranteed a shirt (adult or child). • Regular, pre-registration is $20 • Survivor registration is $15 and also guarantees a survivor pin. Children 12 and under are free. Any child wanting a shirt should register before September 23rd for $20. Shirt sizes begin at Youth Large. Day-of-Registration • Registration after September 23rd and through event day is $25. • Cash and check can be accepted at the event. • Event shirts cannot be guaranteed the day of the event. All proceeds stay local and go towards supporting the Licking County Screening and Survivor Support (SASS) for Breast Cancer Program. We hope to see you on Saturday, October 2nd! The event runs through the Public Health Partnership of Licking County, Inc., which is a 501(c)3 non-profit supporting local programs that address health and wellness and other public health issues across Licking County. The Public Health Partnership is a 501(C)(3) charitable organization established to accept tax deductible donations from grant agencies, foundations, events, sponsors, and individuals. This funding has allowed the program to enhance its services and expand opportunities throughout Licking County.
