The always-awesome MIKE POWELL returns to the 443 on October 8, 2021. HIs shows sell out fast, so don't wait to lock in your tickets. With a vintage voice and a chest full of hauntingly heartfelt songs, prolific storyteller Mike Powell is the underground messenger of blue-collar soul.  Each night the lights go up, this pioneering poet lets his guard down and allows the fervently fearless stories to come to life. His comfort behind a microphone and unique brand of atomic folk creates a vibe that warms the room like a long-ago fire burning hot inside a cabin in the woods. n 2004, Powell left Syracuse University as the most decorated lacrosse player in history but declined offers to play professionally so that he could focus fully on the craft of songwriting. Over the past fifteen years he’s written over two hundred songs, released seven albums and has toured the country playing shows with Martin Sexton, David Lindley, Shooter Jennings, Sarah Lee Guthrie & many more. This fiercely independent artist presents his songs in several different formats which allows his sound to match whatever room he’s playing. His relaxed solo-style listening room show puts Powell’s extreme comfort as a performer on display and breaks down the door between the stage and the mezzanine. This is a “listening room” style show. DOORS: 6PM   SHOWTIME: 7PM IMPORTANT NOTE: In order for the 443 to operate at full capacity, we are limiting our guests to those who are fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Attendees must show proof at the door upon arrival. If you are unable to show proof at the door, your tickets will not be refunded.  THE 443 FLOOR PLAN AND TICKETING HAVE CHANGED FOR 2021 We now have 3 options for our ticketed performances: PREMIUM TABLES Table for TWO (23 available) PREMIUM SINGLE  Single barstool at the bar directly across from the stage (4 available) GENERAL ADMISSION Our general admission area has a drink rail around the perimeter, 11 high-top cocktail tables, and several bar stools. The tables and stools are first come first served and cannot be reserved. We recommend you arrive when the doors open for the event if you would like a barstool and/or table. Most, if not all, GA ticket holders will be able to secure a barstool, but we cannot guarantee a seat unless you're purchasing a Premium Table or Premium Single. You may have to stand for the show if you are purchasing GA tickets.
