Women in Sustainability Fall Kickoff Networking Event (In Person - Denver, CO) Join us for this in person fall kickoff Networking Event for an opportunity to get to know other members of the Women in Sustainability Community. Come meet other community members, learn about Women in Sustainability and more! This event is free and open to any person interested in sustainability and the environment and all are welcome to attend no matter where you are on your journey! RSVP is not required to attend, but preferred. Woods Boss Brewing Company, located at 2210 California St, Denver, CO 80205, encompasses sustainability and caring for the Earth at the heart of their brewery. In addition to an array of beer options, they also offer kombucha and root beer. COVID Guidelines: To safeguard our attendees and family members from the COVID-19 virus, this event will be held outdoors, weather permitting. WIS follows all CDC, State, City and venue protocols that are in place at the time of the event. We ask that all attendees follow the required guidelines for both vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals including wearing a mask if you are not vaccinated. We also encourage those to wear masks that feel more comfortable doing so. Regardless of your vaccination status, if you are not feeling well or have come in contact with someone with the COVID-19 virus, please do not attend this event. We appreciate your help in keeping our community and their family members safe during these unprecedented times. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be moved inside with plenty of space to social distance. In addition, WIS implements a COVID conscious name tag system for all attendees based on their level of comfort of contact (green = hugs & handshakes, yellow = handshakes & high fives, red = toe taps and air high fives). Women in Sustainability: Women in Sustainability (WIS) is a women-led nonprofit dedicated to facilitating community action to fight the climate crisis and social injustices. WIS intentionally creates a safe space for like-minded and diverse individuals to create purposeful and transformational connections in the environmental movement.
