Description

Meet like-minded community members, learn how to take action in your community, and hear from local expert speakers on key climate topics If you can eat, compost it! That's a basic rule for composting, but there's so much more to learn... Composting is one of many ways we can reduce carbon emissions to make a dent in the dauntingly vast problem of global warming and climate change. Join The Climate Change Collective and Emcee Nick Campion on Tues Sept 7th to learn more about composting and get inspired to help with climate change and educate your friends and family. You'll connect with like-minded folks (ice breakers provided!). Then we'll hear from the founder of local company Wompost and the Executive Director of Recycle Colorado about the basics of composting and how Denver and Colorado is pumping out that black gold. Bring your most pressing composting questions! Free (donations accepted) beer, wine, and pizza (while supplies last) for attendees, and optional donations accepted through our partner app Good Elephant. Come learn about an area to help climate change and connect with other climate friendly individuals. Please register for the event on Good Elephant which also accepts donations for the event: https://my.goodelephant.co/creator/c/899/Denver/Climate-Change-Collective/Climate-Change-Collective:-Happy-Hour-Speaker-Series
