A reopening chamber concert after a long hiatus, featuring a world premiere concerto for Oud and chamber ensemble by Mahmoud Chouki After a long hiatus we're thrilled to announce the reopening concerts, and start of our 2021/2022 performance season at the Marigny Opera House! We're producing an exciting chamber concert to celebrate reopening featuring a world premiere. "Oud Concerto for New Orleans", composed and performed by Mahmoud Chouki, was commissioned for this event by our own foundation. "Nightshade" | Cary Boyce Radio Bird Quartet "Trois Bises" (from the film Ma Belle, My Beauty)| Mahmoud Chouki -intermission- Oud Concerto for New Orleans (World Premiere) | Mahmoud Chouki Per city mandate, and moving forward for all events until otherwise noted, you must provide EITHER proof of COVID-19 vaccination OR a negative COVID-19 test from within 72 hours of show time. Masks that cover the mouth and nose are required for all guests.
