Please join us Saturday, September 11th from 2PM - 8PM EST for our “Southern Vibes Only IV” End of Summer Cookout! The Southern Diplomats present our annual end of summer cookout! “Southern Vibes Only" Part IV” EARLY ARRIVAL IS STRONGLY SUGGESTED Cookout Location River Terrace Park 350 Anacostia Ave NE Washington DC 20019 Since Southern cookouts are the best, the Southern Diplomats (SD) have decided to bring those Southern vibes to the DMV! This will be an epic event that you do not want to miss! For those who have been to one of the previous three SD cookouts...you already knowww! 5 Essential points to ensure "Southern Vibes Only" cookout entry and event success: 1) BRING YOUR OWN LIQUOR (BYOL): EACH GUEST MUST bring a bottle of "TOP SHELF" Liquor (please, no wine). Please note, your first bottle goes to the house bar. Any additional bottles you bring can go into your cooler, bag, or something discreet. Due to park permit restrictions, we ask that you DO NOT walk around with bottles (technically, we cannot have liquor on park grounds so...shhhh). If you would like to bring something else in lieu of a bottle, please contact one of the hosts directly. 2) ADMISSION: To gain entry and to ensure we have an accurate headcount; please RSVP for this event. On the day of the cookout, to gain entry please have an electronic copy of the free ticket and one bottle of top shelf liquor (which is required for admission). We also appreciate and encourage financial donations. Any donations received will be used to fund this event, so each donation will help us make the cookout even better! You can donate by clicking the "donate" button at checkout or via CashApp ( $SouthernDiplomats202 ) 3) ADDITIONAL ITEMS TO BRING: PLEASE bring lawn chairs, tents, blankets, etc. Our park space allows us the opportunity for social distancing, so bringing these items will allow everyone to set up their own VIP sections while still participating with the vibes! 4) PARKING: Street parking is limited. Please consider Uber, Lyft, or carpooling. 5) SOUTHERN VIBES ONLY Southern Vibes Only means great food, dancing, laughter, meeting new friends, and possibly making lifetime friends (or even meeting your soulmate 👀👀).
