Fairfax City’s Office of Economic Development is excited to once again partner with Fair City Mall to host the 3rd Annual Park(ing) Day.
Park(ing) Day is a global event where parking spaces are transformed into temporary parks to play, create, and connect from from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Friday, September 17 at Fair City Mall, 9650 Main Street.
Fairfax City Mall business, Fairfax City offices, and George Mason University’s Dewberry School of Music Flute Ensemble will transform parking spaces into a pop-up park and pedestrian-friendly areas. Park(ing) Day will feature a garden installation made of pool noodles, musical performances, activities, giveaways, raffle drawings, and a touch-a-bus experience with the City’s CUE bus.
