A Welcome Walk is an opportunity for long-time U.S. residents to connect with and walk with U.S. newcomers to show support. Who can join the Welcome Walk? The Welcome Walk is open to anyone wishing to show support to immigrants including immigrants themselves.How long is the Welcome Walk? We ask that you arrive at Rice Pavillion at 6 pm. From there you will be divided into groups and together you’ll start the 1.5 mile loop around Liberty Park.Are there other activities besides walking? Along the walk, enjoy different cultural share activities. After the walk, meet others outside of your group and learn about other community organizations you can get involved with. www.athomehumanitarian.org
