This is a beginning class on creating a mini junk journal. A junk journal is a handmade book made up of recycled items. Items such as paper from magazines, patterned paper, brown paper bags, greeting cards, envelopes, etc. can be used. The list is endless in creating your book. You can add photos, leave spaces to write, and put items in envelopes. Each of us will be creating our own vision of the mini junk journal. If you have items you think you could use, bring them with you. Age range is 13-17. Cost is $16.50 (includes tax and fees). There is $5.00 appointed to picking out items in the store. You can purchase additional items. My life experience has led to me on this mission and vision to celebrate life with others. We learn so much from each other which helps us grow. I opened Healing Hearts & Memory Making on May 1, 2021. This opens up doors to so many possibilities of teaching, making friends, and learning from each of you. I have been a preschool/prekindergarten teacher (10 yrs), home health worker (4 yrs), youth pastor (5 1/2 yrs), and case manager in mental health (6 yrs). I'm about building relationships in everything I do.
