Rehoming male German Shepherd Dog

We are relocating and need to rehome our 6 year old German shepherd dog. He is very active and rambunctious and may knock over young children. He needs an alpha male (or female) who can control a very loving, but strong and protective dog. Is fine around other dogs, even little ones, but would not recommend a family with young children. A fenced yard or acreage is a must. Not great around horses as he wants to grab their tails or herd them. We are not charging a rehoming fee, but we are picky about who will be his new forever family. If you're interested and think you can provide a good home, please respond explaining your living situation--members in household, what type of house or yard you have, other pets, etc. Experience with GSD breed preferred. We are not interested in a watch dog situation. He wants to be part of a family or a partner to a single person. Again, you must be prepared to be an alpha owner. We will need to check out his new living situation if you sound like the right setting for him. When we deliver him, we will expect a fenced yard and no young children in the home. Thanks in advance!
