Introduction to Wildlife TrackingA walk in the woods will yield many animal signs to the aware human. In this class, we will look at animal tracks, scat, fur, and any other signs that animals left behind and learn how to identify from which animal the track was left. Experienced naturalist and tracker will lead the group on a tracking hike. They will share their insights into the secret world of woodland animals through the messages written in their tracks. Participants will leave with tracking tips to understand the movement of animals through the forest. Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy, waterproof shoes, as the trails may be muddy.
