Description

This class is designed to assist with the transition of the newborn to home. Parents will learn infant care and safety strategies that will decrease anxiety and allow them to feel confident when leaving the hospital. This is an interactive class, and parents will have the opportunity to practice many holding, diapering, bathing, swaddling, feeding, and comforting techniques. The $25 fee for this class covers both the mother and a support person, and a support person is encouraged to attend. At Anderson Hospital, we're committed to caring for mothers and babies.
