Join us as we begin our 2021-2022 Season! Our orchestra will perform jazz tunes on our opening night of September 24 at 7 p.m. At our next concert - NEW HORIZONS - on September 24, you will hear the following wonderful sounds: the moving Suite for Clarinet, Violin and Piano by the jazz-influenced French composer Darius Milhaud; the Suite for Violin and Piano by the American composer Raymond Scott; the fun Suite for Flute and Jazz Piano Trio by Claude Bolling; and the surprising Powerhouse by Raymond Scott in its original sextet version for clarinet, trumpet, tenor sax, piano, bass, and drums. Our concert time is 7:00 PM on Friday, September 24. Please note that our venue is the spacious Thomas May Parish Ministry Center at St. John Brebeuf, 8305 N. Harlem Avenue, Niles IL 60714 (NOT in the Church at 8307 N. Harlem as has been our custom).
