Learn power tool basics and build for and with your community during Community Design Studio's 2nd annual Community Build at Mixxer! Join CDS at Mixxer as we assembling and decorate benches, mini-stages, and corn hole boards that were designed by high school Leadership by Design campers this summer. Everything we build together will be set up in mini parks on Trade Street during International Park(ing) Day on Friday September 17 to provide an opportunity for folks to sit, play, and perform together in the Arts District. This year we're also giving you a chance to bring your creation home: Donate $50 or more to CDS to purchase your own supplies, and you'll take your item home with you after Park(ing) Day ends on Friday, September 17!
