Participants will learn how, as well as create, an eye-catching PowerPoint suitable for any presentation style or venue, i.e. face-to-face, webinar or conference call, as well as practice skills previously learned, whether in our Presentation Skills 101 course* or elsewhere, and receive beneficial feedback placing you on a direct path of success! About the Instructor: Candie L. Simmons is a marketing veteran with over 20+ years of demonstrated experience. Having prepared and delivered countless presentations and speeches, she is a highly sought out public speaker who not only focuses on content, but also delivery and engaging her audiences. As a Gallup Certified StrengthFinder® Coach, she’s coached numerous managers and their teams on how to work together more effectively by focusing on each individual team members’ strengths in order to achieve overall goals. Candie graduated and received her MBA from The University of Mississippi and currently serves as Director of Principal Gifts & Strategic Planning at UMMC. In 2009, the Mississippi Business Journal selected Candie as a ‘Top 40 Under 40’, and in 2013, ‘Top 50 Leading Business Women’ where she placed in the top ten. And in 2017, selected as the ‘Outstanding Young Alumni of the Year’ by The University of Mississippi and ‘A Woman Making a Difference in Madison County’ by Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Madison County Alumnae Chapter. Candie is very active in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Beta Delta Omega Chapter, where she currently serves as president.
