Please join us for Parkwood Estates' 5k neighborhood run to help raise awareness and contribute towards metastatic breast cancer research. We have chosen to run and donate to BAYS (Bay Area Young Survivors). BAYS was founded over 10 years ago with a mission to support young women living with breast cancer in the San Francisco Bay area. Over the past decade they have grown bigger, and more diverse. They welcome all individuals - from the newly diagnosed, to those battling recurrent or metastatic disease to long-term survivors. Trans people and non-binary people are part of their family. They are people diagnosed with breast cancer before the age of 45 and united by their passion to survive this disease. Masks are optional and we politely request that only vaccinated individuals participate. Please note that the T-shirt order DEADLINE is September 25th to allow for ordering and shipping.
