For over 20 years Pyramind school of music has been at the forefront of offering the most cutting-edge education on music production, sound engineering, game audio, and DJing! Students travel from all over the world to receive the highest level of education in the industry and we are excited to open our doors to you! Join us on Thursday, September 16th at 7pm for an open house event that will consist of music, a free workshop, and a tour of our brand-new facilities. Throughout the evening you will get the opportunity to meet our staff, take a look at our new training location, hear more about our robust programs such as the world-renowned Complete Producer, and enjoy a free master class from one of our instructors. Here is what you can expect: Welcome to Pyramind - Arrivals Introduction and tour w/ Admissions Director Hart Thorson Creative Composition Techniques in Ableton Live workshop w/ Matt Donner Tour of Pyramind Training & Studio Facilities w/ Admissions Director Hart Thorson Matt Donner has had a storied career in the industry. He is not only the Vice President of Pyramind but he has also trained hundreds of students and mixed/ mastered another hundred or so records (including his own released in 2002) as well as publishing several magazine articles. In this FREE workshop Matt will create a track on the fly and will show you how to: - Listen to chords and associating emotions / language to them. - Apply that language to a story - Build a chord progression around that story Space is extremely limited so be sure to RSVP and save your spot today.
