Please join us this September for the AAAIM National Conference 2021. AAAIM’s annual conference is the national platform for Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) investment managers across the major asset classes of private equity, hedge funds, public equities, fixed income and real assets to meet, conduct business and learn from insightful leaders - and each other. The event gathers a broad range of investment professionals with common interests from public pension funds, other institutional limited partners, emerging managers and large investment firms. The safety and wellbeing of AAAIM National Conference attendees is our top priority. As part of our updated health and safety protocol, all event attendees will be required to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result. More details to follow. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ September 15 The 'Emerging Leaders Initiative' (ELI) - previously Young Professionals - is a half-day session focused on professional development. Complimentary for Full Conference ticket-holders (indicate attendance on registration form). September 16 The main conference is a full-day of fast-paced and focused programming. Learn about domestic and global opportunities and network with speakers and attendees at the top of the industry. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Plan Sponsor Rates Public pension plans, endowments & foundations, and sovereign wealth funds receive complimentary access to the event.  Family Offices qualify only if they 1) allocate to fund managers, 2) do not take outside capital/run a fund using another entity, 3) agree to take meetings with fund managers at the conference. If you qualify, please email [email protected] to request a special registration link. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Health & Safety AAAIM continues to monitor the COVID-19 situation and is committed to following local, State, and CDC policy regarding events and gatherings. All event attendees must provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result within 72 hours of event check-in. Additionally, AAAIM is working closely with Four Seasons San Francisco on enhanced cleaning and COVID-19 safety measures. AAAIM attendees will be the only group in the conference space so you will not be interacting with other outside groups. A proof of vaccination or a negative test result will be collected in advance through a third party vendor (instructions forthcoming). Day-of registration will not be permitted for the conference unless you are fully vaccinated. All attendees must wear masks before and during the event check-in process. We will have masks available. At this time, per San Francisco regulations, attendees will also be required to wear a mask indoors unless they are eating/drinking, regardless of vaccination status. We will make accommodations for outdoor seating during all meals for attendees who do not wish to eat inside. General Session content will be live streamed to the outdoor area for those who wish to remain primarily outdoors. All attendees must practice proper hygiene. Hand sanitizer will be made available. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Refund Policy Refunds requests were accepted up to 30 days before the event in the original form of payment (minus a $50 processing fee). Refund requests up to 7 days before the event will be honored in the form of credit to next year's event. To request a ticket transfer, please email [email protected] with the subject "transfer." For those with medical reasons including a positive COVID test, ticket transfer requests will be honored within the 7-day window. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Releases Photographic Release: There will be photographers and film crews at the event. By signing up for a registration pass, you agree to grant to AAAIM and its authorized representatives permission to record your participation on photography, video, or audio. Any or all of the material recorded or photographed may be used, in any form, as part of any future publications used to promote AAAIM. Such use shall be without payment of fees, royalties, special credit or other compensation. Chatham House Rule: Participants are free to use information at our event. However, to allow for a more open and honest discussion, the AAAIM National Conference implements Chatham House Rule, whereby participants are asked to not identify or affiliate statements to specific speakers. AAAIM is an alliance of prominent, successful Asian American leaders. AAAIM serves as a conduit between Asian American investment professionals and institutional investors. Our events not only serve as opportunities to meet our talented leaders and members, they are a chance to meet thought leaders in the investment industry at large.
