Greenskeeper PT - Golf Maintenance - BrightView @ Diablo Creek Golf Course Part Time position (30 hrs/wk) Hourly wage of $14-15/hr (DOE) Benefits include: Golf per Club policy Job Description: Greenskeeper PT: BrightView Golf Maintenance is recognized nationwide as the leader in golf course maintenance services. We are currently searching for a Part-Time employee to fill the position of Greenskeeper PT who will maintain grounds of golf courses by performing the following duties: * Mowing small turf areas using small push power mowers * Raking sand traps - operating a mechanical "Sand Pro" machine * Trimming and edging using a gas powered edger/trimmer/weedeater * Operating a gas powered blower * Trimming shrubs and low trees to shape and improve growth or to remove damaged leaves, branches, or twigs using shears, pruners, or gas powered hedge trimmers * Picking up leaves, trash, and branches and placing onto a utility vehicle * Performing weeding by hand or using a garden hoe or hula hoe * Will also include Greenskeeper duties as assigned * Ability to perform other cultural applications on golf course as needed - assist with aerifications, applying seed to designated areas, sand topdressing applications, back pack spraying of weeds, etc. * Physical demands are required for this position and might include, but are not limited to: - Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs - Regular exposure to outside environment including rain, cold, sun, or night - Repetitive movement - Standing, walking, twisting, turning, bending, squatting, stooping.
