TEWKSBURY, MA — Tewksbury police arrested two people Sunday and charged both with fentanyl trafficking. Police were called to Main Street for a reported argument. One party in the argument had allegedly kicked the victim's vehicle and shown a black semiautomatic pistol. The victim left the area and called the police; the assailants were unknown to her, she told police. "Officers spotted the vehicle on Main Street near Cumberland Farms and conducted a traffic stop," the police said in a news release. Police arrested Yelvin Munoz, 22 of Lawrence, and Wari Santos-Reyes, 24 of Methuen. "After both individuals were placed in custody, 107 grams of fentanyl was located," the police said. The police searched the car and the area, with the assistance of a North Andover police dog. No gun was found. Munoz was charged with fentanyl trafficking and accessory after the fact. Santos-Reyes was charged with fentanyl trafficking, assault by means of a dangerous weapon and defacing/damaging property. Both were due to be arraigned in Lowell District Court Monday. All people are presumed innocent until proven guilty
