!!!!!! BestBuy Gift Card Scam Alert !!!!!! This guy calls himself John and here’s his phone number that he will use to call or text you: after you email him through Craigslist. He posts on Craigslist to sell gift cards at almost 1/2 price. I was targeted mainly for the Best Buy gift card. He is a maniac and will never agree to meet you at the store but if you push harder on him to just do a in store only sale then he will call you a few hours later to meet at the San Jose store near Almaden Expressway where he says his home is near by. Once you get there he will block your number so that you can’t text or call him. He does so to express his frustration and just to express is maniac attitude because he was not able to scam you by meeting outside and you urged to meet inside. His main purpose is to meet you outside of the store take your money and cancel the gift card through customer service via phone call afterwards because he has the receipt. Once you walk inside the store there will not be any value at the checkout. I advise everyone please be aware of not dealing with him or anyone who is not willing to meet inside the store and verify the balance and give you the purchase receipt. This guy is sick and needs mental treatment, BEWARE!!!!! Purchase at your own risk!
