Today, I was walking back to my van/home with my groceries, and was struck with a feeling that I should try and make an effort to form a congregation out of my homeless brothers and sisters. Homeless. You’ll see us in lines, waiting for food, one or two of us trudging along the sidewalks, singled out and high in an alley. But never together, without our struggles, simply rejoicing for what we do have now. I want to make an effort to change the homeless community in which I live, so to start, I’d like to arrange a meet up to simply... talk. If you’re reading this and asking, “where/when is this?”, well write me back as soon as you can and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can since I want to get this going in some small fashion by this weekend!
