Hello parents! My name is Tabitha and I recently graduated from Foothill College with a focus on child psychology. I am looking to provide quality care for children around ages 4-15. I am fully vaccinated, can provide safe transportation, and am open to additional services such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc. I can easily adapt to fluctuating schedules and am open to feedback or changes that you may have as time progresses. My strength in this position is my ability to adapt the type of care I provide around the stage of development your child/children are in. I am the oldest of my seven siblings and have always taken pride in being a reliable and trustworthy person. Growing up in a tight community, I naturally became the neighborhood babysitter, caring for children with diverse backgrounds and needs. The enjoyment I receive from this role is finding fun and creative ways of learning through engaging activities that support cognitive, emotional, and physical development. Having the privilege to support children as they develop into the adults they will become is, in my opinion, one of the most meaningful and fulfilling roles you can have. More about me: On my days off, I enjoy creating children’s illustrations and short stories. I love learning new languages and am currently studying Chinese (mandarin). Other activities I enjoy are tennis, cooking, golf, hiking, dancing, and reading mental health books. Having a role in supporting a healthy and balanced childhood experience is my greatest passion and I look forward to finding a family to do that with as I continue my education.
