Get connected and be inspired with content curated by area design professionals for you and your creative team! MIX Design Day is back! We will be connecting in person for this amazing event designed to inspire innovation and create connections! While the ways we connect may have changed throughout the last year, the importance of human interactions and connectedness has been magnified! For Design Day 2021, MIX Southwest Michigan First invites the creative community to join us as we explore Connectedness in Design. This fully in-person, interactive event will influence designers and creatives representing a wide range of disciplines. Created to inspire individuals from all creative disciplines, MIX invites you to a day of great content, inspiration and fun. This year's Design Day program will feature local and national designers and experts who will share why the most impactful designs are built on a strong foundation of solid connection and communication. As an added bonus, you are invited to continue the energy of the day and join the Michigan House Summer Celebration as it comes to Kalamazoo. This event will be held in the Haymarket Plaza immediately following the MIX Celebration. On tap is a special presentation on placemaking facilitated by former Kalamazoo Mayor Bobby Hopewell and featuring presenters from the Downtown Kalamazoo Partnership, Landscape Forms and Treystar. MIX brings together designers and creatives of all types to build a sustainable community of innovators and inspired design. MIX it up with us and the community this Design Day!
