Mahood is now available for purchase at Copper Dog Books at 272 Cabot St. in Beverly.  Kings of a Lonely Kingdom: Earth Day Essays, Poems, and Musings on Nature includes ten years of Earth Day essays, original poetry, and related thoughts on how humanity has reshaped the landscape through anthropogenic climate change and the loss of biodiversity. Woven through twelve chapters are poignant stories of the author's experiences as a sustainability consultant and environmentalist, including an Earth Day booklet from 1972, when he was nine years old.
