In need of Home Care Companion for 83 year old in Lake Ridge. Minimal duties include getting her out of bed, assist getting her to living room, give her lunch, assist to restroom every 2 hours, assist with shower, give dinner and put to bed. Light dusting of her bedroom and keeping her bathroom clean. Once up, she watches TV all day so in between your tasks you may work on your computer, etc...as long as her needs are met. Easy extra cash per week. Only needed 1 Day per week from 10am-10pm. (12) hours at $17/hr. Need to speak fluent English, be on time, have a sense of humor, soft spoken, patient, calm, non smoker and care about people. Mom has early stage dementia but knows her surroundings and aware of what is happening. I take care of her the rest of the week and need a day off each week to shop, spend time with my wife and rejuvenate. We do have a small dog. He does not shed and thinks everyone is his best friend.
