Description
NAUGATUCK, CT — The Naugatuck Police Department will conduct a sobriety checkpoint next week, officials announced.
The checkpoint will take place from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 2 into Friday, Sept. 3 on Salem Bridge.
Officials noted that the police department is legally required to make public notice before a sobriety checkpoint because they often "get inquiries as to why we publicize prior to the event."
