MERIDEN, CT — The 78 Dinner Theater has plans to move into the Meriden Mall, according to The Meriden Record-Journal. The restaurant and entertainment venue will move into three vacant spaces that cover 13,000 square feet. The restaurant will also include a lounge and stages for theater and other entertainment like live music and comedy. Plans also include a marquee entrance for the theater on the mall's exterior. On its Facebook page, the theater says its hiring for its dance company which will be performing original productions year round. The description of the establishment reads: "The 78 Dinner Theater is a restaurant, lounge featuring live productions ranging from dance to live music."
