At-Risk Senior Missing From Cherrydale Neighborhood: Police

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police are asking for the public's help locating a missing adult, according to a post on the department's official Twitter account. Dimopoulos Charilaos, 92, was last seen 3:30 p.m. on Monday in the 2000 block of N. Nelson Street in the Cherrydale neighborhood, according to the Tweet. Police described Charilaos as a gray-haired white man standing 5-foot-8 and weighing 110 pounds. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing gray pants, a blue shirt and possibly a black jacket. Charilaos suffers from a cognitive impairment and his disappearance is a threat to his safety, according to an alert issued by the Virginia State Police on Twitter. Anyone with information about Charilaos' whereabouts is asked to contact the Emergency Communications Center at 703-558-2222 or to call 911 in the event of an emergency.
