WALNUT CREEK, CA — Here's your opportunity to have some fun exploring Downtown Walnut Creek, and maybe win a prize. A Walnut Creek History and Art Trivia scavenger hunt is underway. Just complete the game card, submit it, and then cross your fingers to see if you win. Clues to the hunt are found by using the Walk Walnut Creek app and calling the number for stops along the way. Some of the questions are serious, such as "What year did WC become an incorporated city?" Others are purely for fun, "Find the utility box art with a squirrel at the corner of Mt. Diablo and Locust. What is the squirrel standing on?" There are three ways to submit your card:1. Scan it and email it to [email protected] 2. Drop it off at Love + Chocolate, 1397 N. Main St.3. Bring it to the drawing at the Sunday Farmers Market – the drawing will be at 11 at the Farmer's Market Booth. Have fun! The scavenger hunt is part of Walnut Creek's Arts Around August celebration.
