NORTHBROOK, IL — Several businesses in Northbrook are among the fastest-growing private companies in the United States, according to a new list released by Inc.com. The annual list highlights 5,000 of the country's fastest-growing companies, which are ranked by overall revenue growth over a three-year period. The top 500 are then featured in the September issue of Inc. Magazine. Honorees must apply to be selected. In total, this year's honorees brought in $248 billion in revenue and added more than 2.5 million jobs to the U.S. economy. The fastest-growing company in Northbrook is MZ Capital Partners, ranked at 194, according to this year's list. Located at 400 Skokie Boulevard, MZ Capital Partners was recognized in the Real Estate category. In all, the company grew more than 2,220 percent in the past year.
