Seeking members for experimental R&B/indie dance band

Hey Craigslist, I'm a guitarist seeking a bassist, vocalist, and producer for an experimental R&B/funk project. More specifically a mix of neo-soul, ambient, hip hop beats, etc. Ideally members will be open-minded and willing to be involved in the songwriting process and want to initially focus on composing and recording music. We'll get a drummer later down the line when we're playing shows and (hopefully) covid's over. If you're a drummer who's comfortable writing music though, message me anyway! I have a producer in Nashville whom I've worked with in the past. He works for Universal Music and he's great - definitely want to record our material with him. Cool with collaborating in-person or virtually. Once we're ready to play shows I'll get us a practice space. Also I'm planning on us having an androgynous/glam aesthetic. No problem if you don't want to look glam/drag-y on stage, just as long as you're comfortable with everyone else looking like that. You'll probably like playing in this band if: Bassist: you're comfortable with jazzy/funky basslines, accidentals, etc. Producer: You're comfortable with ambient stuff, hip hop & drum n' bass beats. Vocalist: You're cool with singing (and possibly writing) pop and possibly gospel-y melodies. That's it, really. Don't care about age, gender, sexual orientation, etc. About me: I'm a guy. 24 yo Have played in several bands and gigged in multiple states. I play guitar and sing - have been for maybe 8 years?
