Oso is a very sweet, gentle, and intelligent 7 yr old Asian Shepard that needs a new loving home. He was rescued on a rural highway near Lake Hughes running in traffic and possibly abused. He was taken to a ranch nearby in north east LA county but his living situation is not sustainable. This breed is known primarily for herding and guard dog duties. Most times he is very quiet except when he hears an intruder and goes instinctively into protective mode. He seems to be a loner when it comes to getting along with other dogs but would make a wonderful companion for the right owner. The cropped ears and short tail are characteristic for this breed. As stated earlier, Oso currently resides on a ranch and is used to ample land to roam so his new owner must have PLENTY OF SPACE.
