I’m a life-long guitarist in search of a band to join as a lead guitarist. Took lessons as a kid but mainly self taught on the basis of music theory. No other way to say it… music just comes out of me and is a part of me. 26 years old, male, white. I like blues, alt rock, folk, bluegrass. Not looking for pay or popularity, just community and like-minded musicians, and to play good music. I am, however, only interested in something that is going to result in playing out at gigs. I play an epiphone dot (variant of es-335) plugged into a blues junior, with a couple of basic pedals, at the moment. I’m a firm believer that skill is more important than gear. If I get involved with a band I will buy better gear and learn to use it (won’t be a problem). I know the notes on a staff given some time but don’t sight read, and if that’s what you want then I’m not it anyways. If you are reading this and it fits what you’re looking for, lets meet up, hang out, jam, get to know each other. See if it’s a good fit. If it’s not a match, no hard feelings. Text or call me at six seven eight six three three four four zero two. Also, I’m in Henderson but I’m willing to drive anywhere in the valley.
