Here are a few good questions to ask:
Are they a 501(c)(3) public charity?
Will they let you see their facility?
Are they licensed and if so what license do they hold?
and of course, check reviews on Social Media, Google and even places like Yelp.
Do your homework before relinquishing your pet.
