Immediate opening for a part time Maintenance Technician for a Real Estate Brokerage & Property Management Company. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual that thrives on operating independently and takes ownership and pride in their work. Full support is provided to insure your success and growth. Ownership and management are hands on, proactive and highly responsive. Our philosophy is to provide the tools and resources and get out of your way! Best of all we are not structured with multiple layers of management. You will be interacting with the principals and Property Manager and will enjoy our collaborative approach and quick decision making. Job Summary: Minimum of 2 years Maintenance experience in apartment rental communities is required. • Exercise strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills • Perform basic work in electrical, plumbing, painting, HVAC and carpentry. • Work independently as well as part of a team and have strong ability to prioritize multiple tasks • Work primarily at our Elyria property, with occasional jobs on the west side of Cleveland • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and ability to use digital technology. • Assess detailed repairs and replacements in a vacant apartment to make it available for a new resident. • Maintaining and improving property's curb appeal • Tenant communication; verbal and hand written Compensation and Benefits: • Competitive market-based salary; commensurate with experience Required Education: • High School, Trade School or Equivalent • College Preferred Other: • Must have valid driver’s license and vehicle • Own tools required • Spanish speaking a plus • Must be able to lift objects, weighing 25 pounds or more, on a regular basis • Certifications a plus
