Why Not! I’m driving out to the 4 corners region to do some canyon hiking and exploring. This is happening VERY soon. If you have a very flexible schedule and are an experienced hiker / backpacker I MAY have room for one. You must be able to hike off trail in arid climates and have the equipment and ability to carry 4-6 liters of water. You must have a wicked sense of adventure and humor. You do not need a lot of money as this will be car camping and maybe an overnighter or two on the trail. You will need enough money to help with a gas a little and to ensure you have the necessary backcountry supplies. Don’t message me if: You are on drugs, crazy, or on the verge of some epic rage event You would show up with a JanSport book bag and a bottle of water. You have physical limitations that prevent you from hiking for all or most of a day. You don’t brush your teeth. You can change plans in the blink of an eye and are always ready to see what’s around the next bend. I won’t respond to any messages unless I’m convinced you are capable, experienced at backpacking, and someone who is positive and fun to be around for many days in a row. GO!
