Full Job Description Alchemy Data Centers LLC, has been operating regional private data centers in Southern California since 1995 in downtown Los Angeles and Irvine, CA. Alchemy is actively looking for full-time data center Maintenance Technicians for each data center. Maintenance Technician functions requirements: • General clean up including lights, locks, doors, walls, above and below the raised floors and daily waste disposal. • Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that building systems operate efficiently and that the physical condition of the building does not deteriorate. • Perform maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical repairs to ensure that the building is properly maintained i.e. have handyman skills and be able to operate a diverse set of tools. • Operate and perform routine maintenance on HVAC and related systems to maintenance optimum temperatures for client racks and equipment. • Assist with coordination of the various maintenance vendors. • Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 50lbs. • Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling under raised floor tiles. • The ability to prioritize and multi-task • Must be able to organize facility inventory that is not neat or organized currently • Be passionate about delivering consistent excellence Qualifications • Previous maintenance experience preferred. • Familiarity of cooling systems, electrical panels and battery systems helpful. • Intermediate skills in MS Excel • Self-starter • Competent communication skills • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Attention to detail • Accurate data recording skills • Ability to observe processes and suggest improvements • Professional demeanor Job Type: Full-time Pay: $35,000.00 - $44,000.00 per year
