*Posting for older neighbor, will forward your responses to her* Rehoming my 11 month old shih tzu. She's super sweet and mellow, potty trained, has all her shots, and almost never barks. She's good on a leash and excellent with kids of all ages and other dogs. However, she does NOT like high energy dogs. She is fine with even young children and toddlers as loud and grabby as they can be she is still cool as a cucumber, but she can't handle high energy dogs at all. It scares her to death and it turns the house into a circus. She's better outside for walks because those dogs are not in her home and her space. Basically she just doesn't have to deal with them but let them pass by. At home, she's stuck with them lol. I have another shih tzu and they get along beautifully, but our terrier mix is too high energy for her.
