For those of you who want to preserve individual liberties, we must do the following: 1. Call, email, or attend the San Jose City Council meeting for vaccine passport mandate TODAY AT 1:00 PM. Written comments can be submitted to the following: MAYOREMAIL @ SANJOSECA.GOV or find your district supervisor at: You may reach them via email at: BoardOperations @ cob.sccgov.org The attachment entitled Protesting County Mandates will give you good talking points. 2. San Mateo County is also considering vaccine mandates led by Supervisor David Canepa. One of our central committee members has put together letters and contact information in the attached document entitled PROTESTING COUNTY MANDATES This document contains contact information for the BOS and many good rebuttals to vaccine mandates. Please contact them ASAP to stop the herd mentality of county supervisors to suppress individual rights. 3. Next, if Dems can use COVID to impose mandates, we can use COVID to slow down the implementation of Ethnic Studies. Contact your legislators to tell them. See attachment: ACTION AGAINST AB101 as to how. 4. Finally, so many of us are novices in political activism that I wanted to introduce you to a reputable organization called the Leadership Institute: The attached document "From Leadership Institute" lists some recent trainings they will be conducting of which many are free or reasonably priced, and may be of interest.
