Charlie Watts, the driving beat behind the Rolling Stones has passed away at the age of 80. One of the greatest rock drummers of all time, Charlie knew how to play with style and dignity and he will be greatly missed. As I watched him play so many years ago, I picked up on his little high hat trick and still incorporate it to this day. He will be remembered by all the recordings he did with the Stones and with his jazz band as well as all the other records he played on. Love to his family and dearest friends. RIP Mr. Watts.
