Description

We are looking for a FT customer service focused Apartment Maintenance Technician with a positive can-do attitude to join our team. In this position your duties will include: · Maintaining the physical integrity of the apartment community, ensuring a safe and secure environment for our residents, visitors and staff. · Assessing and repairing maintenance issues consisting of: · Electrical – appliances, light fixtures, switched, outlets, circuits and intercoms. · Plumbing – clearing drain blockages, replacing fittings, repairing water leaks and replacing water heaters. · Major Appliances – troubleshoot and repair of washers/dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators and stoves. · Flooring – removal of carpeting, installing of vinyl plank and tile flooring. · Carpentry work – repair of walls, trim repair/replacement, doors, install/repair of windows. · Painting/Drywall repair · Make ready units for new move-ins – removal of items left in unit by previous resident, check all fixtures, appliances, plumbing, blinds, ceiling fans, tile, changes A/C filters and fixes or replaces any items not in working condition. · Ability to work within a team and also able to complete work assignments independently. · On-call rotation for after-hours emergencies. · Able to prioritize workload to complete work tasks. · Snow removal duties in winter months.
