Description

Building superintendent duties: Inspects vacant units and prepares them for rental. Responds to tenant requests for repairs and keeps a journal of completed work. Keeps building grounds and common areas clean and in a safe condition. Keeps entrances, walkways, and stairways clear of ice, snow, and debris. Conducts regular preventative maintenance on items throughout the interior and exterior of the building. Maintains fresh paint on the interior and exterior of the building. Responds to emergency calls. Has strong problem-solving skills. Performs basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and heating and air conditioning work as well as some carpentry work. Apartment projects in Tompkins County about 100 units.
