We are a growing contracting, remodeling, and plumbing company serving northern Virginia currently interviewing for a Lead Carpenter and helper positions. The Lead Carpenter position is directly responsible for the onsite supervision and all field activity and the execution of each project according to the plans, specifications, budget, and schedule. Communication skills and professionalism are important, as the Lead Carpenter will be our client's main point of contact on site. Our company also requires strong attention to detail and a focus on craftsmanship. If you're interested in a Lead Carpenter's position, the requirements and responsibilities for the position include: Must have no less then 5 years experience in the following: framing (floors/walls/decks), finish trim (crown/base/casing), tiling, painting and cabinetry installation. This is a working position and requires performing demolition, framing, trim, completion of punch list, etc. Must be extremely neat and organized. Work efficiency and job site cleanliness are very important to our company and nothing less is acceptable. Must have a positive attitude and want to contribute to a growing company. Must have reliable transportation and own tools. Valid driver's license. Working knowledge of all trades - electrical, roofing, masonry, plumbing, HVAC, drywall, painting, etc. Must be able to read plans, work independently, and manage their own job site. SUBCONTRACTORS OKAY IF PROOF OF INSURANCE CAN BE PROVIDED.
